After a long and warm travelling, we arrived Hajstorp by Gøta canal on thursday evening.
Next morning we were driving to the huntingarea about 07.30 and many of us was starting this day.
Micke and Ninni with Zarina and Bernhard went for the huntingtest, while the others went for the tolling huntingtest. Zarina did a good job, but not good enough for any prize.
Also Boogie started on the youth huntingtest this day, he had some problems on the search and did'nt get any prize.
Kjerstin and Zairah was first to go for the tolling huntingtest. The tolling and water retrieving went well, thou Kjerstin was afraid of that. But when they went for the search, the stress was quite high and Zairah run back to the water several times.
Next was Cicilie and Ki-mi, they did av splendid job, Ki-mi even picked the dummies laying far away and got a 1st prize for this job. She also won the Tolling huntingtest this year, as she did last year......
Also Agneta and Betty did a very god job, they got a 2nd price and became 2nd after Ki-mi..
Shanty was one of the latest to start and was waiting and waiting....when he so started he got a bad experience. A small rock awash was seen right were they throwed the dummies and Shanty strike the rock and yelled. Fortunelately no teeth was damished, but he avoided the area after. After a new tollingpart he went out for the second dummy and because the first one now had been floating away from the rock, he also picked up that one. But at the search he was emty and did'nt do anything, thou he picked up the last marking without any problems.
Then it was Aud and Zilvas turn, but after they had finished their waterretrieving who went well, the thunderstorm started. It was almost 30 degrees during the day and we got a heavy thunderstorm with a lot of rain. They had to wait for half an hour before it calmed down, but Zilva did'nt like to go for the search under this circumstances.
But Aud really enjoyed that the thunderstorm also made the spectators to run away....
So out of 7 dogs from Lauvstua, only two had got a prize, but it's easy to fail and most of the owners and dogs a inexperienced. Anyway it's really fun that so many now dare to start on huntingtests. So the atmosphere was still on top.
Also Marit and Tira had gone their agilityprogram this day, they became 2nd and qualified for the final later this day. Unfortunelately, it did'nt go that well, Marit blaimed the heat after a rather cold summer up in the north. But what ever causes the problems, next year there are new chances, for everybody.....
Other norwegians started at the obidience this they, Johanna and Remus became 4th in class I with 184,5 points while Kate and Vilja got 166,5 points.
The day after Kristian and Bowie was ready for the youth huntingclass, Bowie had to start first, so once more we had to get up early. Some of us did'tn manage to do so.....no name mentioned.
Bowie was eager to work and could have needed more obedience..... but he came through the first markings and then they went for the search. There Bowie did a splendid job, he searches all over and picked up dummy after dummy. For this he was rewarded with a 3rd price and was also qualified for the competition of this years Junior tollarmester.
Later this day it was Liv Ambjørg and Stellas turn, she did very well in the beginning and we could see that they already are in class II in obedience. But on the search Stella went frustrated and only one dummy was picked up. Both Stella and Bowie has a lot of push and it will be very exciting to follow these young dogs further on
